What Paper Coin Magazines are Still Out There? Any Suggestions?

I use to get CoinWorld, Numismatic News, RCMR, The Numismatist, Coinage, Grey Sheet and a few other paper or physical magazines over the years. But it's been years since I haven't subscribed or received them. Do these still exist, and are there any others?

I think I prefer reading them physically over online. As every time I go online, it's like going down a rabbit whole, and next thing you know, I'm reading about something much different than coins. Thanks for the help!

As a long time ANA member, I still get the Numismatist which is a great magazine.

I still see CoinWorld and Rare Coins Market Report in magazine stores. I get the The E-Sylum on-line.

You can also try/sign-up for the on-line version.

CoinWorld is quite good still overall. I got the cheaper ANA membership with the virtual numismatist but honestly I’d rather have the paper one.

I loved CoinWorld when it was produced in the larger, newspaper style format. I was a subscriber for over 20 years. Not much of a fan of the newer, magazine format. Man, the Internet has changed everything.

Been subscribing to Coin World since 1964 (!) and I suppose I'll keep getting it as long as I'm around.

Call me “Old Fashioned”, but I really prefer to a great extent having the physical paper in my hand. As such, I’ve been subscribing to both Coin World and Numismatic News hard copies for roughly 50+ years or so!

I buy Coin World whenever I can get a good deal on a yearly subscription. I subscribe to the "paper edition" only. No interest in the electronic version.

Seems like half of the contents of these periodicals are nothing but price guide fillers.

I quit subscribing to Numismatic News, when seemingly they pretty much went electronic.

I will not buy single copies at the book store. Too expensive! :)

I agree. I always looked forward to those double newspaper type issues. I think they sometimes totaled 120 pages over 2 sections. Remember the Trading Post section?

Wow, does that comment bring back memories. Remember when they also put the circulation figures right on the bottom of the front page? Hard to believe, that in back in 1965, their circulation peaked at just over 175,000.

Yes, it’s still one of the best although it’s gotten smaller.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

I subscribed to Coin World years ago, then dropped it when I moved. Also the Numismatist. Now I occasionally pick up a copy at the book store. I just stick with my reference library for coin information. Cheers, RickO
