Well, this one is clearly an altered date 44-D
The seller even provided a closeup of the Dremel work :s

    Why don't we all just each buy 10 rolls of 44 D Lincolns and destroy them, takes away the inventory from the creeps. lol

    Thanks for capturing the picture. I like to see these altered or fake examples... Good learning tools. So often, it is pulled before I get to see it and no one captured a picture. Cheers, RickO

    look for the v.d.b as well (if they didnt remove it as well) it dont hurt to check

    Here's another one from my "black cabinet."


    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
