The deadline was April 1st If I remember correctly. I did my submission on "The Cameo Proof Cents and Nickels of 1942", I can also PM you that if you want to read it.
Edit: the aforementioned essay I took much more time with and found much more in depth sources, so I like to think it's a little better than this one

What a great informative post. I think patterns are a mostly overlooked history of our coinage and glad that someone more dedicated than myself took on this challenge and quite successfully if I might add. Thank you.
