CRAZY HOUND DOG

Hello my name is Bert Hinkle and I have been collecting coins for about fifty years.
I guess I had registered awhile back, but forgot and I just tried to register and they said my email address was already used, so I signed in, with my email address and click forgot password and they allowed me to change it, by sending me an email.
I used to post a lot, on VamWorld, back when I was finding some nice vams, on the silver dollars.
I had been trying to call and email CRAZY HOUND DOG, but no luck.
We used to communicate by emails awhile back and he had sold me a couple very nice toned buffalo nickels.
I looked at several pages of posts, but I didn't see his user name.
Does anyone know how he is doing and if he still posts on this discussion form?
One the question, I looked at the icons, above this post and does the last icon, allow me to post a message and attach a picture?
Thank You, Bert

Hey there Bert😊
@bhinkle65 you might want to edit your post to take out his last name
Martin
Welcome the the forum my old friend
Yes, I agree please do that for me.
Hey Joe how are you?
I tried sending you emails, but no returns.
I tried calling the last phone number, that I had and they said it had been disconnected.
What has it been twenty years?
How can I get in touch, with you?
My email address is the same.
Glad to hear you are still alive and kicking.
At 78 myself, you never know.
Bert
Hi Bert.
It’s great to hear from you.
Let me try to send you an email😊
But in the meantime can I get you to edit this thread and take my last name outta there.
Thanks buddy.
Martin Posts
I would edit my first post, but I'm not sure how to do that.
This is the first time I have posted here.
Please tell me how and I will remove the last name.
Thank, Bert
He is as good as we got here. Highly respected well thought of and very popular.
@bhinkle65 Joe, er Crazyhoundog is a legend around here. Just ask him about the fire!
To take out Joe's last name, go to your first post at the top, click on that little gear that appears after the date and time on the top right, it will say EDIT, click on that and then you can delete his name.....Crazy Hound Dog is all you need around here!!
He has some of the nicest coins I've ever seen!!!
On the upper right hand corner of your post a little gear - click on that to edit.
Okay thanks, I just tried that and the attached screen came up and it didn't bring up or show my post, so I could edit or remove it.!
Just click on the gear upper right hand corner then click where it says (Edit) then your post should come up to where you can please edit it.
Thanks
Man! I am trying sorry.
When I click the gear a drop down menu says 'edit profile' and I clicked that and it doesn't bring up the post so I can edit it.
What a strange way to meet again?

Your response sounds like you maybe clicked on the wrong gear. It is a gear in the upper right hand corner of the first post that you made. After the Edit, then hit Save to complete.

I just deleted al of the names.
SORRY and THANK YOU for all for your help.
I was reading some of your replies, after deleting parts of my posts.
Yeah, we were emailing, when Joe had that terrible fire and had sent me pictures, of the coins and melted boxes inside.
That was terrible.
I hope we can all welcome my good old friend Bert to our favorite forum.
Bert is a great guy who has been a close personal friend of our long lost but not forgotten, Ron Pope. Ron and I were close friends and that’s how I met, Bert. Bert has some seriously beautiful coins that I’m sure he’ll share with us when it’s possible. He’s very knowledgeable when it comes to Vams too. I’m sure he’ll fit right in😊
I’m glad you’re here my old friend.
Welcome to the forums! Please post some coins of you wish!

Welcome Bert!
You might want to take your last name out of your first post too. Most of us don’t use our names in our handle either. You might want to change that too if they will let you.
Welcome Bert to the forum.

Glad you bumped into your friend and ours, Joe!
Any friend of Joe is a friend to us.

Thank you everyone.

Sorry it took me so long to reply.
At 78, I don't navigate, that well on preforming tasks online sometimes.
I spend most of my time now, back in my woods, with my white, blue eyed Siberian Husky,
enjoying the song birds, because last year, here in Ohio, they were all killed of by some disease.
Plus I forgot where I copied this website and my P/W.
Any why, it is an honor to be a member of this very interesting form.
Last year, I worked on completing finding and buying nice examples of all the eight proof buffalo nickels
I will try and attach a couple now.!
Well, after clicking the square icon above, that said 'attach image', it only showed one picture, after I clicked
preview.
Can you only attach one picture at a time?
The one, that it showed, when I clicked preview, is my 1916 PCGSPR67 and he Trueview picture.
Welcome Bert! crazyhounddog is a great member here among many others.
This is the best coin forum around!
