Is the obverse all scratched up or is it extreme die polish ot perhaps a scratched up slab?

When I look at the obverse of your coin I think that would be really cool as painting.

    Thanks guys.
The lack of toning around the word PEACE gives me pause.
I'll be able to tackle more of what it looks like when it arrives.
(gumby1234: the toning is lifting off in areas that give it the appearance of scratches. It isn't.)

Verrry interesting - I think it will look nicer with better pictures.

Not a Peace dollar I would be interested in.... However, could be just the pictures. Cheers, RickO

Not sure by what artist but never thought a coin would make me think of a painting.

The photos look to be taken in insufficient lighting. With a different set up, I could see the piece popping more.

Looks like it has damage but not so easy to tell for sure with the pics provided.

Image has been artificially enhanced in this post.

I doubt PCGS would grade this coin. It does have a neat look like an oil painting as Stingray63 mentioned earlier.

Nice coin but not for me

No disrespect intended. But with all that black I would call it "The Coal Miner's Daughter".

Successful transactions:Tookybandit. "Everyone is equal, some are more equal than others".
