Picked up this lovely type coin this week - throwing it out there for a GTG. Will post full PCGS slab pic tomorrow night.

I'm thinking XF45 because of the lack of luster in the photos. If there is more luster than I'm seeing I would go AU50.

    AU53?

    XF, let's say 45.

Looks like a worthy EF, probably enough for an EF45, and if the luster is there, shot 50

Like others said, 45, shot 50 if there is luster.

Looks XF-45 to me but could be TPG graded as high AU55 these days.

I believe PCGS would hold it to XF40 due to the wear on LIBERTY. Beautiful coin, I like the color.

    XF40 - Good guessing by @FlyingAl, @Crypto and @jesbbroken.

If you haven’t done so already, I highly recommend the recent Newman Numismatic Symposium talk by John Frost on the history of the 20C piece which is free to watch here:

Here's the one from my 7070. I graded it ~5-10 points lower than the plastic and paid accordingly. I guess it's a good thing I bought it when I did as they've recently gone up significantly in price. At the time, I bought this for about half of what solid AU coins were getting. Since I've never been a huge fan of 20-Centers and I just wanted to fill the hole in the Type Set, I bought this one:
