I didn't get to guess in time, but I cannot believe that coin was graded MS64. I feel MS65+. Wow, if I owned it, no one would ever get it for a 65 price. Congrats on a beauty.

Unc. Barber Halves are the ugliest group of uncirculated coins I've ever seen…. This is a very clean coin. It doesn't have the typical spotchy toilet bowl toning you often find on unc. Barber Halves.
I love the imagery. Thank you for reminding me why I never pursued a date and mintmark set of these.
It took four full years for me to find one in MS 65 that I liked. Oddly enough, after that, I saw at least ten others that would have met my standards in the next six months. Nice ones, though scarce, don't seem to be as difficult to find now.

Up tick in prices I think is the reason for some of these coming to the market place

I've said it many times, but true views are seldom very true and I do not like to use them to grade or judge from.
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
If you check, you will see, quite a few knowledgeable people felt 65 or up, so chin up and enjoy a beautiful piece of numismatic history.

The tv images didn't show the cheek marks which likely kept it back.

Could it be that the marks are on the holder and not the coin?

If you zoom in the Trueview pic on a phone, you can see the flaws, which are well hidden zoomed out.
