What's up with the 2022 Lincoln Cent?

I'm seeing tons of "Spitting Lincoln", "Cracked Head Lincoln", "Split Head Lincoln" errors. Is this just because it's the newest Lincoln. Haven't seen this much activity since 2009. Are there any true errors for 2022?

fwiw, some of those terms go back to wheat cent lincolns. not sure exactly what you're asking.
for sure, there will be 2022 errors. the mint simply makes too many coins to catch them all. the one posted recently was in the 2020 - 2022 range of a die failure lincoln. a very impressive nearly bisected break resulting in at least a massive retained cud that possibly could have gone full cud to rival in size a lot of many of the earlier ones as well as other denominations.
Can you post some pictures?
Thanks

Kennedys are my quest...
The current "fortune in your pocket change" craze has set off a mad search for every possible minor "error" and "variety".

Thanks Lance. I remember the 2021 wild die crack. Just seems like so many different claims of errors this year. Edited to add: One day I'll open my box of 2021's and see if I'm lucky enough to have one. lol
Just seems like the same errors you see claimed on ebay, only seems like more this year than normal. I guess youtube is driving this. JMO Here's a few currently on ebay, with the only interesting one is the one listed as a DDO.

This! Too many fortune hunters with no numismatic knowledge hyping junk, and too much money in the hands of sucker buyers.

good point about social media/youtube being major contributors but i'll still hold the people accountable to use logic and reason when pricing and trying to sell. (unfortunately it does work from time to time and it keeps fanning the flame) i see it in other areas as well.
whatever the one with the rim crack down to the head is actually pretty neat and i hesitate to say it doesn't seem like a common one, iirc. fwiw
the 2022 "ddo" from that image can most likely be 2 things: MD/erosion and the reflective look coins take on from that type of imaging (digi-scope most likely) (if it turned out to be a legit DDO, which would be nice, i would be happy to be mistaken!)
FWIW I have not seen any clips dated later than 2019, so at minimum they seem to have the planchet quality under control.

From what I have seen on ebay alone, very few clips of the 2022 cent, if they are real and I'm skeptical. Here's one.

There certainly seems to be a rash of these lately... would not be surprised to see them showing up here shortly. Someone even mentioned error coins to me at work the other day -a non-collector that has seen some of the online hype. Cheers, RickO
That is absolutely not genuine, the radius of curvature is all wrong.

I don't know exactly what you mean by "true errors" but there are some with very strong die clashes.https://ebay.com/itm/165403956182?hash=item2682d813d6:g:EJEAAOSwX3NiTG5k
