    Fakes should not be holdered

    I do not think fakes/counterfeits should be holdered. That being said, I do understand some of the rationale offered in favor of slabbing. There should have been a poll option of 'sometimes'. :D;) Cheers, RickO

    I don't think it's quite so simple... the 1804 restrike large cent was produced in 1860 from used/discarded dies. It's an obvious fake, but its listed in the Redbook. So is the 1823 restrike from broken dies...
