1958 Wheat Penny I've been holding on for 3 years

Hello everyone! I've been collecting and buying coins for a few years only but this one I've been going back to once every so often and really wish I had some good explanation to what my coin has.
I can't post photos yet and I have several. They don't show the full details but some of it is still visible.
The coin is beautiful, but has these things on the rim that look like parts of letters and some look like die run offs. There might be a little damage to those because they are raised spots. If it was all damage, the coin would also have more damage to it. It's just too inconsistent. The side of the rim is mostly smooth where there are no "bumps"
I'll post photos soon as I'm a member.

It's damage.
There is no way to get letters or any other raised weekends on the rim during the minting process.
Removed from an encased cent with design transfer, maybe.
@Dallife .... Welcome aboard. You could post a link to the pictures... Cheers, RickO

I read through that already and yes I understand how this looks. I'm not "new" technically, just new here. I also don't think I have an error, just want to know how this happened, I've not seen anything close to it and I've looked through thousands and thousands of pennies

You might be able to load the picture if you have it on another website.
Copy the Image address, then click the box on the top right end (Image URL) and paste it there. Hit enter.
IF it loads an image link into the comment box it is probably good. Check with the Preview screen.
Some site locations work others don't and other off / on.
I am not a Facebook or Instagram type and don't have a picture hosting site, so don't know if it would work from one of those.
