Don't blame PCGS for not grading a "Hammered" coin. As someone sure went Medieval on that coin. Beat it clear back to 1934, knocked the building down and planted wheat, I guess.

I suspect he's delusional but at that level borders on the criminal.
My favorite of the few I could bring myself to look at was the "1934" mule that was rejected by PCGS. Since he submitted as 1934 they printed that on the reject label, and he's using that as verification of his delusion.
I guess he thinks it's possible to have an obverse mules with a reverse that didn't exist for another 25 years. 🤔
Well, at least he had the guts to "send them in". The next trick will be to accept the results.
That coin is so far off base, I believe the seller is an intentional scammer, looking for the gullible with cash. Most beginners would know that is an impossible coin. Cheers, RickO
It might be why submissions are back logged - Scammers and the less knowledgeable are sending in this kind of crap and the graders are laughing their behinds off - and are too delirious from laughing so hard that it takes couple of hours for them to recover and get back to grading.

scammers have regularly bid on their own items with different accounts or in cooperation with other scammers for at least as long as i've been on ebay. there are some categories where they have done enough self-bidding to cause markets to react and then a snowball effect happens and other people start listing higher from FOMO.
a quick example off the top of my head are black diamond disney clamshell cartoons. worth around $5-10 give/take, for some reason there are/were TONS of "sales" in the 4 figures but none of them were real upon even basic inspection, showing the accounts were 0-3 feedback sellers, 99% of the time with a few random accounts with a few feedback.
so long as there aren't scarce variations of something (which is partly the FOMO drive of it all) then looking at the hundreds of other exact type of item can show potential sellers/bidders what is what.
while ebay can and does remove scam accounts, when they do this shenanigans, unfortunately, those results are NOT removed from sales results either soon or at all or it just takes them a while to disappear unfortunately.

Yeah. He should do like me. Pay $20 for grading, then sell them in auction , starting at $.99.
I didn't try to look these up but if that is the final selling price which it looks like that is so painful. Not to add insult to injury but I sure hope the seller wasn't offering Free Shipping too.

Because $50,000.00 would just seem like too much money, and you don't want to scare buyers away. Right?
I might bid on that one...
Over 1,000$ in grading fees on absolutely nothing.
This is what desperation mixed with mental health looks like.
This saddens me.
That’s just the opening bid. The guys retirement plan is his change from his last Walmart run.

I would have loved to be a fly on the wall in the grading room.
I'll bet the comments were priceless when that order came through.

I just pray no beginners see these auctions and actually fall for one of them. Obviously the person who sent them in for grading has issues.
Maybe its a little kid being humored by his parents? Or just bats**t crazy.

I’m surprised he didn’t sell a few cheap things to build up his feedback before trying to sell this stuff.
Well, ya know, he can always come down on his price. Seller has to start somewhere, I guess.
