1964-D Kennedy Half Triple Die Obverse

I pulled this guy from a roll yesterday. Not very rare or significant but still amazing they are still out there...... or people dumping them back into circulation, not know they're silver. The rev. has some type of corrosion, would probably detail. I'll give it an acetone bath and maybe a quick dip to see what happens.

Yes they are cool and good money in high grades. 👍🏼
Hoard the keys.
Don't know how many halves I've looked at but I have never found one.
Good eye!

I know exactly what you mean. If and when you find one, it'll really jump out at you. You'll have no doubt! I still had to look at it 10 times, shaking my head.

So refreshing!
Thanks Fred! Yes, it's nice to see a real mint error here from time to time, isn't it?

Sweet Find!
Very nice find... Not just silver, but a TDO as well. And those are really good pictures. Cheers, RickO
A great answer as to why we search.
It looks like you nailed a '64 D QDO FS-105.
A fabulous find no matter what the grade.
As stated above, really nice pictures.

Kennedys are my quest...
Great find! So many nice, STRONG doubled/tripled/quadrupled dies can be found on 1964 halves, from both mints and any both proof and business strikes. Some nice Denver RPM's as well, as well as dual variety doubled die/RPM.
Thanks guys to each of you!
Fred's short remark alone, makes this venture/hobby worth the effort.
