No, it can't. I don't follow the values of these coins so when prices came up, I went to eBay to look for myself and reported what I found here. Unable to dispute the accuracy of the value I reported, you proceeded to look for excuses to explain why the coin sold for the price it did. And surprise! You found them!
Good job!
edited to add... I searched a bit more and found one that sold for $6.00.

Good job! Not what I would classify as "much lower" and you didn't post the link but I am going to end our debate for the good of the thread.😎
Let's just agree to disagree👍
I feel like we took this in a different direction from the OP and I am sure everyone is getting tired of reading our opinions!😂🤣

I still challenge you to find an Ebay listing for a W quarter that sells for "much lower" than $6.99 and if you do please post the link.😉
No. There's no point, you've already made up your mind.

Good luck finding one and if you do I am ready to provide an explanation for why it sold for such a low price because it will be the exception to the rule.

I rushed to the bank this morning and bought myself a $500 box of quarters. These look like new quarters just peeking through the inspection holes on the box. Any "W" quarters i find will go to the coin store where I will attempt to get up to $8 apiece for.

Can you post a picture so we can see the reverse of the coins? I can tell you if they are a 2019 or 2020 rolls. If they are 2021 or 2022 rolls there will be no W quarters
The value will fluctuate some until "The Next Big Thing" comes along. At that point, the peak has been reached and it's all downhill from there. Twenty years from now, there will be posts here asking "Are West Point quarters undervalued?" I leave it to you to figure out who will be making those posts.
@WQuarterFreddie"That is a Best Offer Accepted. Another seller who doesn't know the true market value"
Okay, but if I can watch listings and be patient why should I pay more?
Also the low listing that slip through the cracks can have an affect on perceived value.

You illustrate my point exactly. I said from the beginning there will be exceptions to the rule.
So you find some low ball prices but you state you sold one for a high price.
Let's all just agree to that point and move on. For what it's worth I haven't had a single person take me up on my offer to buy their W quarters for $5 😎

As far as the OP's question "Will Westpoint quarters go up in value?"
My crystal ball broke so I pulled out the old trusty Magic 8
The big reason I started this discussion was to learn reasoning as to why the coin would go up or down in value. I've learned about stocks for a few years now so I understand that can only do so much, but I love learning why people think a certain way. Also, markets like these fluctuate because of the price we collectively assign to them, so opinions matter greatly.

Please feel free to PM me or ask any questions you may have regarding W quarters as I have been hunting, finding and collecting them for over 3 years now😎

So if wholesale buy is somewhere between $8 and $10 and retail closer to $15, and you're willing to back the truck up at $5, that kind of answers the question as to your opinion as to whether they'll hold their value long term.
American love for novelty will never fade away for long. If the mint had made some "W" halves a few years ago we would have been seeing the same thing with those guys as we see now with the quarters. I've got one "W" piece in my collection. It's the 1994 U.S. Prisoner of War Museum silver dollar. If I ever see one of my best friends from H.S. days who was actually a POW at the Hanoi Hilton same time as John McCain, I will give it to him. Any "W" quarters I find will go to market except for just one I will keep as a souvenir. Everyone please wish me luck on my box of quarters that I will be searching today for W's.

They are not silver or gold so everybody make up your own mind as to whether to hold them or sell what you have. I was buying or selling when it was fun to go through boxes to find them. I stopped looking for them when it became impossible to get 4 boxes at a time at the banks. I remember when I first started buying them on ebay for $700 a roll and selling them for $80 each . I then started buying the rolls to look through myself and selling them for $59 each. I watched the prices drop as more people started searching for them until they reached the current level. I once had over 200 complete sets of all the W quarters but sold them off as I just got too old to do it anymore and ebay made it so I could only sell here on the forum. I used to go through 20 to 30 boxes a week of quarters. Freddie started buying them from me as I was getting out of the business and it was a pleasure to deal with him. I was the one that told him to use this forum and to get his quarters graded on PCGS so I can vouch for his credibility and knowledge. I will admit that I don't know where the price goes on these but wish everyone good luck on their decisions. I did say when I first started selling them that they would settle in at $10 each after a few years but am puzzled as to why all have a 2 million mintage and some sell for more than others.
Okay, but if I can watch listings and be patient why should I pay more?

What is on the reverse of the rolls you have? Inquiring minds want to know😎
At what point is "too old"? Jack Nicklaus has quit playing golf. He's over 80 now and says he can't play anymore so he's giving up the game. Well, I'm not 80 years old yet but I never could really play the game of golf if I were to consider play at Jack Nicklaus standards. I guess it's just a matter of one's mindset. As long as my eyes hold up I sure as heck can check rolls for "W" mintmark quarters, however. That's an amazing story about your "W" quarter experience. Thank you for sharing.
Update: I've search a third of my 50 rolls of quarters at this writing. First roll, yes first roll, a silver quarter,1954. 10th or 11th roll a "W". 2020 "V75" Weir Farm. Appears to be choice uncirculated. This will be my souvenir "W." Not for sale even though the shop says they would give me $8 for it. Will go into a Coinworld Premier holder and be part of my modest collection. Win, win (silver and "W") already and I've got 30+ more rolls to search. Looking for these W's is about as much fun as one can have with their clothes on it seems.

Yes. They are comprised of old and new. Many of the state quarters i'm seeing are very nice condition which kind of surprises me. I had bought a few rolls of quarters at the bank last year and could not find a single suitable example for my grandson's quarter board. All rough looking coins but not these.
2/3 of the way through the 50 rolls. Not another W nor another silver. I'll post some images of what I find in my first $500 quarter box after I complete the search later today. Might be tomorrow before I post them though since I'll be watching the Valero Texas Open golf on TV this afternoon.

I was lucky that I saw that Albuquerque was going to be one of the places that the 2019 W's were going to be distributed. The only one of the 2020 Ws to be here was the first one and I really did not get too many of those but I sure got my share of the 2019's and that was where the real money was.

Quick summary is that Mint distributed bulk bags of quarters salted with W quarters direct to Federal Reserve locations throughout the country and the local armored car services pick up a bag and roll them at their facility for distribution to their customers including banks and larger national businesses like Wlmart, Royal Farms, Wawa etc.
All the 2019 W quarters appeared in Albuquerque but not all of the 2020s made it here but that was because banks here would not give out any like they did the 2019's. I gave up looking for boxes.
