I'm curious if this monster toned Peace dollar was bought back by our host?

The cert number is no longer valid. It was discussed in this thread.

It would seem so, but who here could confirm? 🤔

If it got sent in for regrade it could be in a new holder with a new number.

If it wasn't bought back, it should have been.

Personally, I am of the opinion that the coin was AT'd to hide the scratches.
Looks like one of those AT jobs done in late 90's early 2000's
I would think someone from Legend would know the current resting ground of this coin since that is where it was last auctioned.
I think this coin deserves more discussion from more knowledgeable folks since it also was cac approved. It no longer exists in the database since the cert. # is now inactive.
That is interesting... Sure would like to know 'the rest of the story'..... Many consider the coin to be AT... Though the TPG did not... Let's have some forum detective work... Inquiring minds want to know... Cheers, RickO
