I tried yesterday morning early and changed my quantity on my enrollment. Then in late morning credit cards began getting charged. Including mine. I called and they said they were unable to cancel. They said it had to be within 72 hours. Every email I had ever received said 48 hours

Does anyone know how many of these proofs are already produced. If the mint is having trouble getting planchets, is it possible this proof could surprise people and be a real low mintage?
no known shortage of ASE planchets. There was a problem getting the unique 2022 Peace/Morgan planchets from the mint's source, thus the postponement until next year. The ASE proofs are struck and sitting on the shelf well before they are offered for sale. I suspect enrollments are used to determine how many to initially strike.

I've had enrollments for years and this year seems different. I can't ever remember the order status being listed as "Processing enrollment". Usually I get the order confirmation email 1st, the evening before or the morning of the item going on the Lottery page. Now my enrollments are in a processing status and they also charged my CC. Just waiting for tracking #s.

I will miss the fun today. My wife and I will make the semi-annual trip to our parents graves to place flowers for Easter. Good luck to all those trying for coins at noon. My enrollment for three is already processing for shipment

probably that they stopped allowing VPN's and other bot like activity this time. Wouldn't it be nice if they looked up IP address and blocked any that have never logged in before?
Seemed to go right to Backorder on the site ... and holding there for quite a while. Available 5/18, supposedly.
Wonder if B/O means you'll actually get one or if they plan to drop you??
If it means you might still get one, then I have hope for when the S-proof comes out.
(also: data-available="48200.0" ???)
I got my W-proof order processing via (my 1st) enrollment.
Congratulations sets were super easy. I decided NOT to complete the transaction, as these would just be for flipping and there doesn't seem to be enough meat for me.
I also looked at the W proof SAE....was immediate back order, but orderable. No lags, no delays.
I also decided NOT to complete that one, for the same reason above.
So, it would appear that, either the demand not there, or the mint REALLY improved their system....take your pick
So perhaps all that (enrollment) WARNING info from the mint was just that - enrollments were sold out. Perhaps so they can have some for order on the site?? Maybe we got their "box of chocolates" figured out ... this time anyway.
Nada for me but I didn’t try they are both “W” mint marks so no big deal. Now if it was a special limited edition that would be a different story. Good luck at all that got in.
Ordered 5 earlier, more for my collection than any hopes of flipping.

Perhaps they really did prevent the bots this time. That makes the most sense in all this.
The bots people have had plenty of time to go in and buy manually since they are still available. People adjusted their subscription quantities is probably to blame I'm guessing.

Got 3 congrats easy, got my enrollments, that had to be the easiest ever
What does that tell you?
It tells me I got my coins, like always. Unlike most, I always seem to get my coins, but this time went smooothhhllllyy. If your hinting that nobody wanted these or the ASE, well who cares. I don't buy to flip, if they start selling for nosebleed prices, great. But, I grade everything to keep and give as presents.
I do believe some of you might be right on maybe the mint figured out a way to be fair, ie. BOTS. To me, things have been getting better as far as shipping and even with using large bubble wrap in the shipping. Yeah, they still have issues, but the today was a hassle free check out. I also love the enrollment program, very happy I don't have to think about getting my ASE's.

Can't say that reasonable HHLs plus blocking most of the bots doesn't make a significant difference on days like this!
Funny how we were debating the effectiveness of taking those steps in times past.
Some W’s available for backorder Shipping May 18 Congratulations available and looks like no delay shipping. 😉🙀🦫

Relatively, thats a lifetime. Not gone in 30 secs.
was really easy! would like to think the mint's security changes are the reason, but i work for the federal gov and know better!
They will sell out tomorrow when the 3 dealers who care about these place their orders at noon.

Just got email - the Coin Vault is already pre-sale-ing the 2022-W proof in NGC PF70 ADVANCED RELEASE for $500, or $600 with signed label. BAH!
