I believe it is counterfeit. Do you? What are your reasons as to why.

Weight and size are good. It is silver. Some of the 'tells' are not there as to why it is a counterfeit.
What is your reasoning as to why you believe it is (if you do believe it is a fake):

First, I am NOT an expert so I'm just trying here.
On the obverse the first thing I notice, after looking at Photograde Pics
The position of the stars and LIBERTY in relation to the bust seem to be "off".
I'll stay tuned to educate myself on this topic
thanks for posting this @braddick
Successful transactions with : MICHAELDIXON, Manorcourtman, Bochiman, bolivarshagnasty, AUandAG, onlyroosies, chumley, Weiss, jdimmick, BAJJERFAN, gene1978, TJM965, Smittys, GRANDAM, JTHawaii, mainejoe, softparade, derryb
Bad transactions with : nobody to date
Definitely looks off. I really don’t like that rim.
The strike, especially the denticles are almost "too good" to me, and so I don't like it either. The fin coming up at STATES on the reverse looks like something you'd see on a more modern proof. There are also a few raised lines coming off the denticles, one near the fourth obverse star (counting clockwise from the date) and splitting OF and AMERICA on the reverse.
These are frequently counterfeited, so anyone looking to buy one should be very suspicious, and stay away from anything remotely suspicious.

to help out.
Her eye looks a little big, eagle looks a tad small...🤔
The eyes were the first thing to capture my eyes.
They are not right.

Kennedys are my quest...
The numbers are wrong, especially the 7
I agree with wev, the numbers are the first thing that I noticed.
As mentioned, these are frequently counterfeited coins. Generally, the denticles, date, portrait and eagle, when compared to an authentic coin, differ. At that point, I would move on. Cheers, RickO
One of the recent Chinese counterfeits; nicknamed the "Vampire" counterfeits for the repeated "bite" marks on the neck.
My Coin Week article on the "family" of these at:

the lettering on the edge
I agree with the rim as well. I don't like the lettering either, jmo
And don't forget that the weight is off!
The weight is good according to @braddick . I gotta say they are getting better at counterfeiting these dollars.
The numbers look off to me too as someone has already mentioned. Great fake👍
I’m curious, are they faking these with a collar or are they using a screw press? That’s why I mentioned the rim. It felt like, to me, it was struck in collar.
These were broadstruck. This looks like it was done in a collar.
