So, I believe the only proof Silver Eagle I was missing was the 95W. I thought it was going to be 5-figures for that, so decided it was just plain out of my dreams. Then I saw on APMEX a 69 and another 69 on Heritage for 4-figures. Still a stretch, but ... its just that 1 itch that WANTS to be scratched. Both PCGS graded, with HA being a Gold Shield (with TV).
I jumped in to my 1st Heritage auction and made an online bid days before the auction.
The online terms mentioned the buyers premium was 15%, then at some point around 2012(?) jumped to 17.5%, and turns out to be a WHOPPING 20% (I found out upon bidding)! Wow that feels STEEP! OOOF! (Que the Batman "balloon".)
Kinda wish I had the coin for the V75 Gold Eagle Pr69 that was up - but that would be 5-figures with the premium, so ... just nah.
Watched bidding on a few coins during the live auction. My coin was a few $100 under my max prior to the open. It sat there and I saw the "fair warning" signal - had my hopes up. Then a couple bids popped in just before it closed ... making me pay my MAX!! arrrrgh. Which wunna yaz was it??? lol 
That was an experience. But I won it.
This will be coming to me. 
I paid by echeck, so who knows WHEN it'll show up? I know somebody here has been waiting for weeks for their item(s).

Anybody know if you can see the "bid history" for your item after it closes on HA? Just curious If I could see how that actually transpired.

Do sellers pay anything to auction their lots, or is it all buyers funding the auction (at 20%)? Also curious.

Heritage has a "standard" 10% sellers fee for selling all coins.
Those who know the system and how it works know they can negotiate for much better rates on their items sold.
easy to get rid of is the seller "fee" then its just about how much your collection is worth that you can negotiate to get some of that 20% buyers premium

The '95W is always a great coin to add to one's collection.
My first-time bidding on a Heritage auction was also scary.
All went well but was surprised by the high shiping charge which was for coast to coast.
I now deduct it from my max bid.

Well this morning Sarah from HA called (and emailed) me to answer my questions.
I wish I wrote it down, but she did mention about the number of bids (20-something?), not amounts, and there were a couple after the "warning". Didnt mention where I could get that, but may be privileged info.
The echeck can be a delay as it may take 5 days to hit their bank. And they are experiencing shipping delays lately.

Yeah, and add tax on top - YOWWW!!! I paid a good (?) 1K in taxes / fees. Thats smarts. Makes it hard to feel "good" about bidding on hi ticket items, really. Yet, all said and done, it came in ~$30 under the APMEX coin I was considering would've run me. So I got that going for me ... which is nice.
