Small show with around 35-40 dealers. I will guess that it will be crowded. This is the first show of the year in the Milwaukee area (last one was in November). See you all there. I am sure @ricko will want show reports.

Just returned from the show. Sorry, I was not able to take pictures. I had my phone out taking a picture and the dealer gave me a very strange look. It is a small time show with a lot of club members putting out their coins as well as the regular guys that sell at the WI shows.

Many tables were populated with 3 ring binders of coins. Several with binders of proof gold dollars, halves, quarters and dimes from 1980-present. Others had trays of older coinage. The show cases were mainly used for raw Morgans, Peace Dollars and various other type coins. Not a lot of buying of raw coins going on today (that I witnessed). Maybe that will pick up. The show was busy but in a small area. Didn't see any slabbed coins sell as well.

Dealers with silver were busy. Raw 2021/2022 ASE's for $35, MS69 NGC for $70. The 90% silver was out for sale. Rolls of Walkers in VF were $240, better grade Franklins for $235 and Kennedy's for $230. He claimed the rolls were unsearched. Where have I heard that before?

Silver bars seemed a bit high. One oz Engelhard bars for $45-$50, 10oz for $375-400. Silvertowne Poker chip 5 oz silver pucks for $180. Didn't see much moving at that table but it was early.

Little to no gold out. One dealer commented he is not selling gold right now as he thinks it is moving much higher. I would say less than 25% of the dealers had gold and few graded gold.

I never expect to find what I am looking for at the small shows. No high grade CAC gold for my type set and no Daniel Carr goodies. Maybe at Central States. I did make an old timers day. I was looking to sell off $20 face in Liberty's to repurpose in something else. He was pleased with my fair ask and promptly marked the items for sale.

I hope others made it to the show.

What's "$20 face in Liberty's"? Double eagles? ASE's? A coin dimbulb I know wants to know.

    Sorry.
ASE: American Silver Eagles (or as some say Silver American Eagles) 1 oz each

$20 face of Liberty's: A couple years ago I bought Liberty's in a $20 Double Eagle, a $10 Eagle and two $5 Half Eagles all raw and low Mint State (dates 1897, 1898, 1899, 1900). I turned the Double Eagle into a 1908-O restrike by Daniel Carr (my avatar). Today I sold off the $10 and two $5's to get a 2022 High Relief Winged Saint Gauden by Daniel Carr.
