That wasn't what I was trying to convey, I just meant that it had signs of being counterfeit ALL over it, in that you don't have to look for a single counterfeit marker, its total make up is totally counterfeit

Well, I don't know if that's exactly the same as my WV use of an "Idiom"
Raining cats & dogs,
Has a head harder than a rock,
ugly to the bone,
or in my case, the total coin, has signs of counterfeiting all over it, Idiom = a total counterfeit.
Its just part of a language barrier, we'll work through it
Many times I've ask my wife where something is, her reply was likely to be,

she grew up in a holler (my idiom) in nothing more than three walls & a blanket. Means a little two room shack and a pot belly stove, and a outhouse (is outhouse an idiom?)
