PMD yay or nay?

Finally I have a parking lot find! While getting change to pay for lunch today I saw that this Washington had a worn down obverse and a much stronger reverse. At first I presumed that this was face down in a parking lot. There is a faint trace of luster still on the outside. How do you suppose the letters got worn down? Take a Dremel to the outside? Or is this a super rare error that you can look for on eBay?

    Struck through grease/debris. But it also has a fair share of “bag marks” as well, which would be border-line damage, IMO.

    Struck thru error.

    I had a feeling it may be a grease die. I might release it back into the wild and see if it shows up on these boards as "Super Rare! what do I have?"

    I like it. If it was mine I'd keep it. Means something more when you find a collectible coin in the wild.

    An error of some sort that is too badly beaten up to be of much value. No WOW! factor and the WOW! factor is what gives error coins value.

    @Randoms
    Nice pictures of a strike thru quarter.
    I'd save it for posterity.
