Toning fans: The Vandalized JFK

Graffiti artist spray painted my 1964-D Kennedy.
It's ruined, isn't it?

Maybe this??

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
I'm guessing Ricko and I will have the same opinion of this coin.

inasmuch as a 64-d kennedy in 65 CAN be ruined.
all kiddin' aside. i would soooo buy that masterpiece!
Not a fan.
It’s unique and unusual.
She arrived from ATS in today's mail.
Got her raw back in 2018 at a local shop. She was mixed in with a $500 bag of 90% half dollars that I was just casually sorting through. Remember thinking how unusual it was to see tone float above and through luster, and thought there was at least a reasonable chance the tone was legit. Asked how much. Dealer shrugged and said $15. Offered $13 and they took it.
COINcidentally, I actually offered her raw 4 years ago_ to the day _on the BST. $44.95. No takers

I love Kennedys even when AT goes terribly wrong. Lol
Wayne
Kennedys are my quest...
Sort of reminds me of Peter Max poster, from way back in the day.
Groovy man!!!!!
I like it.

The reverse, an artists full paint palette.
Not really a Kennedy half fan, but this one is cool! 😎
Dave
That blue sky on the reverse is insane.
The vandal(s) should be apprehended, drawn and quartered (do they still do that?)... Or at least severely reprimanded and restricted access to spray cans.
Cheers, RickO
No question ruined, I'll give her a good home.
Looks like an original Banksy to me.
could be worth BIG $$$$$
Exactly. Or maybe the spray painted fashions of the 1980s.
Right? That's the part that looks most like drippy, splotchy spray paint.
I can only imagine what this coin would have looked like if the wild colors had formed into the concentric rings they started to. Both obverse and reverse would have been absolutely insane.
But I still think she's fantastic
