My newest Half Cent purchase.

I was lucky enough to win this 1809 Classic Head Half Cent and was I glad. The seller's photos did not do the coin justice. It has a slight scratch on the obverse but as it will not be graded but will go in my 7070 raw, it does not concern me. How do you like it?

The obverse surface quality is difficult to ascertain given the photo provided.

I think I like it, but the photos are so dark it’s hard to be sure.

The photos are very dark, but from what I can see, it appears to be in the VF-30 range. In that grade the scratches are probably inconsequential.

Although the pictures are dark, it looks like it is an excellent album coin. Cheers, RickO
