This thing looks like the real deal and weighs 4 troy ounces but isn't marked.

Anyone know anything on this one...?

The same bar was listed here...

You need to be really careful about these if they're unmarked and you don't have access to a Sigma.
There was one that sold on eBay on December 5th--but it actually says .999 Fine Silver above the big "1" on the left side of the front.

The one you've posted may be real and solid and the right weight. But it may not. And if you're not sure as a buyer, it'll be that much harder to sell when you're the seller.

I would not buy that one.... Looks like it may be a fake. The picture in the auction has the silver identifier... different than the one you pictured. Cheers, RickO

Most likely one of those silver mill bars....or Chinese fakes

Take a magnet to it. Look up other methods if you dont have a Sigma. Better to buy from a reputable source or a known brand and pay more than loose money.

It was included in a larger lot that I recently purchased.

Do you have a hard drive magnet handy? The slide test can detect a bogus core. Good luck. Peace Roy

Took it to local coin shop today and it tested .999

He paid me spot for it :)

Very strange it was not marked as to weight or purity...
