Isn't that a 1943 steel cent? Corroded. Worth a couple cents.

Very badly corroded 1943 steel cent. No collector value in that condition.

    All glory is fleeting.
  • Thanks so much for the help

    Why do you think it's a 1944?

  • I really dont know I was guessing. I couldn't see it but thought I saw a faint 4. It could be a 3 too

If it were a genuine 1944 steel penny, it might be worth thousands of dollars even in that condition.
But corroded1943 steelies are a dime a dozen.

Welcome. Great question. Great answers. You should maybe continue with a little research about collecting because you apparently have a good eye and some interest.
Kinda how we all got started. 👍🏼( then there’s me who lacks the good eye but fortunately it can be helped with study😂)

@Amscozzaro73.... Welcome aboard. I agree with the above, a corroded 1943. Good pictures.... Cheers, RickO
