The only way to know (CAC or not) is to submit it.... Looks like a nice coin, but the pictures are large and not straight on reality shots.... Cheers, RickO
If I was buying I do not think I would pay 64 money for it, and I do not think from your photos that it would be approved by CAC. However, the photos are not in sharp focus on my monitor so I might have a different opinion from better pics or an in hand review to see the whole coin.
I don't think this would sticker. The scratch on the reverse is to prominent really at any grade IMO. I think the color is ok and the luster is good but the various scratches and the spot hold it down.
But scratches like this are relatively common with gold?
I mean a scratch like that on a Walker and it would bag...
How does the coin grade 64 with that scratch?

I have started collecting Gold and am.... kind of battling how soft Gold is.
I cannot get a good handle on what is acceptable, allowable, etc etc.
This coin has great Lustre and has a nice look. It is in a PCGS 64 holder....
Am I being too strict? Is this ok?
Would the coin CAC?
I know these are all different categories of analysis but wondering.
Thank you
J

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
