I was there today. The show flyer said park in South Lot and come in South entrance. The show is off the North entrance. Odd. Anyhow, they had 2 rooms last time I was there, this year everyone was crammed into one room. It was very crowded.
I was fortunate enough to sell 2 coins to a Dealer who (shockingly) made a fair offer. It was the first one I spoke with so that was quick and easy.
I looked the show over for 5 Walkers I needed, there was very little in the way of raw coins from which to choose from but I managed to fill one hole.
I didn't stay very long because of the crowding and the pending snowstorm for the long ride back to the northwest suburbs.

If you do what you always did, you get what you always got.

Sorry, it sounds like you apparently had a miserable time? Yeah, you're right, it was a bit crowded. For me, it was tolerable. I visited many tables, probably all of them. I got to sell 3 of my items. Made some decent cash, $450. I picked up, 3 new items and I had a great time. I even stopped to talk to a few dealers I knew. Once again, sorry you couldn't have the good time I had. Well, there's always tomorrow. Also, Saturday. If you do attend
I hope you have a much pleasant day this time? I'll be there tomorrow. Hope to see ya.
    Lol ;)

Thanks for the report and pics. Seems well attended by both dealers and customers.
The table with the ASE's in 2x2's would have been a stop for me. Working on 5 ASE albums.
Have a good time and safe travels.

Thanks for the report Joey.... and nice pictures. Good to see things returning to normal. Some really interesting items on the tables in the first picture... I would have spent some time there. Cheers, RickO

I would say yes on the RPM.

Carpeted floors are good. Lighting looks good. Aisles seem to be reasonably wide. Free parking. I like all of that and hope to attend the show some day. :)

    Well, real carpet.

I'm mindful of the paper-thin stuff they had for many years at the convention center in Chicago which was worse than nothing - it promised your feet something it then didn't deliver. I'm sure when it was first purchased it was nice carpet. That would be about 1980. By 2015 it was well past its end-of-life.

My 1st thought at the August WFoM was - wow, no carpet. Truth in advertising.

    Day 2 Report

    Hi guys,
Interesting Friday! Besides my earlier mention of the 2022 Quarters. Most exciting visit was at a Russian Couple's table. Nice people! Very historical inventory. As a matter of fact, I purchased a old, old huge copper coin!

    1767 Doubled Eagle

    A Monster

The gentleman told me that Russia used this coin for merchandise similar to the way U.S. exchanged Silver for the old silver certificate dollar Bill's in the 50's.
I brought up the subject about today's scenario in Ukraine. He quickly replied,
"Russia, back in the day was a living hell."
I don't know what that meant? But I have an idea.
Anyway, back to coins. Here are some of the couple's inventory. Very Cool! :#
