At least he has the make an offer option
$12 would be too cheap.
Not by much... I think $20 would still be more than a bit steep. Maybe $20 is what they intended.
If his/her intention was to draw people in to look at his auction by posting a ridiculous price on a low grade coin, it worked!!!!!!
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
Do they get revenue by number of views?
Maybe they meant to ask 25 hundredths instead of 25 hundred...
edited to add. It's a Denver mint.
I love it when the TV coin sellers show these crazy asking prices to justify the relative "bargains" they are offering. Too funny.
That is completely batty!
I sell my bat quarters for half that price, seriously
Crazy prices on ebay.... I have an entire roll of bat quarters, S mint, I have not even opened. At those prices, I would sell the entire roll. Cheers, RickO
The OP must not spend much time on eBay - there are literally thousands of overpriced coins - including recently a 1975 cent with no mint mark - only 5 grand ... must be super rare
(sarcasm)
Ricko sell something
Nah, ain't going to happen
A roll of those just sold on ebay yesterday for $132, which is a great price compared to the normal $180-$260 they have been selling for. I'm still waiting for them to drop down below issue price
I may have to reassess valuation of some Barber halves I have in my 90% box...nah...Ridiculous pricing goes with the turf on ebay anymore. I regularly see Barber material that should be $two or $three figures with asking prices in the $thousands. Ebay sellers looking for buyers who just fell off the turnip truck?

No, just happened that I was looking at low-end 1900 s Barber halves, and this one caught my eye...
What really gripes my goat is how many Barber listings say e..g. "VG", and there are literally NO letters in liberty visible on the obverse.
Edited to say: Yeah, I know, it's one of a million issues on eBay, but it's my pet peeve...
Barber Halves aren't my area of collecting but I see similar pricing for damaged Large Cents quite often. Opening bids of $50 or more on AG3/details coins...
