    Already got ours thanks to my wife’s
    early filing.
    No coins for me as the water bill, the
    real estate and property taxes were all do. :s
    Will make up for it later in the year. :D

    Yeah, not a bad thought with the market in correction. I think about how we will pay for the bathroom remodel we just contracted... 😉

    I was only 0.6% off from what I paid to what I owed.

    I like having at least a small refund. That way I don't hate doing my taxes quite so much.

    I hate both penalties and making estimated payments, if I get a refund I apply it to next year.

    I love tax time. I have enough taxes withheld that I get a very nice refund every year. It is deposited in the bank and kept for home projects or other large expenses.

    On many occasions I’ve used it for coins, etc. I have them hold out extra to have something to look forward to. 👍

    My refunds went toward paying off the house. Done deal 5 years ago. Now we just
    set aside the money for medical issues.

    Yes, I actually have a small one this year which is sort of unusual. I'll use some of it to pay my real estate tax and a coin or two, the rest will get invested.

    I wonder how many people have the discipline to set aside and save over a year's time an amount of money equal to the size of the refund that they end up getting.

    I'll do good to not have to sell some coins just to pay taxes.
    I did contract labor all last year, which I've done sense the warehouse I worked at for 35 years CLOSED DOWN may of 2014.
    So, tax time is payout time, its amazing how much taxes the government wants just to work a $4,000 a year contract labor job.

    No refund for me. After my real estate taxes, federal income taxes, and state income taxes I barely have money left for food and seated liberty dimes.
