I actually have a tremendous assortment of foreign coins with animal depictions though I haven’t photographed them yet. Will have to do that one of these days. LOTS of crocodile’s too!

From pocket change got during various trips. Have always been intrigued by the choice of the Rhino showing it's butt for the coin and held on to it because upon researching it, found that on June 30, 2011, the 25 paisa and all lower denomination coins were officially demonetized.

And yes, the British Museum did purchase many coins from him
