Wow! I can’t believe I won $10k, lol. After all, didn’t @SanctionII just say it’s a 10k giveaway? It reminds me of a friend who told me he was asked by his new employer to sign up for their 401k, and he refused. I asked him why, and he said, “Well, I’d do a 5k, or maybe even a 10k, but there’s no way I’m going to run a 401k”, lol.
In all seriousness, thank you so very much @SanctionII for your true generosity in the prize of a special Proof Franklin Half!

A day without fine wine and working on your coin collection is like a day without sunshine!!!
Last year Winesteven suggested I have a 10k giveaway of a Cameo proof Franklin.
It shall be done and the winner will receive a 1950s era Cameo half.>

So let me get this straight - the winner is the same person who suggested the giveaway in the first place AND has "Win" as part of his username ("winesteven") here?
I cry foul!

To update up this thread, I would like to announce that after looking through the 53 newly graded proof half dollars I received back from our host yesterday I have chosen a 1955 PF66CAM Franklin as the 10,000 post contest prize that will be sent to the contest winner:
Winesteven.
Congrats to Winesteven and my thanks to all who played in the contest
Winesteven's guess of 6-8-2022 as the date that the final Trueview photo of the coins contained in the 8 submissions I gave to PCGS at the February, 2022 Long Beach show is likely at least two months off. Everyone else's guess was even farther off.
I still have not received 2 of the 8 submissions back. Further as of today Trueviews have posted only for 8 coins sent in on a Voucher submission. I expect that the final Trueview photo will not post until sometime in late August at the earliest.
To finish up this thread I will post a Trueview of the contest prize when it is posted.
Bringing this thread to the top to report that the last TrueView photos of the coins I submitted to PCGS last February at the Long Beach show have still not popped. A submission of 6 World coins was returned to me yesterday and I expect the TrueView photos of same to pop later this month.
In hindsight it is amusing to see that Winesteven's winning guess of June 8, 2022 at 1:15 p.m. PDT is now more than two months too early . The earliest guess of 3-4-2022 is now over five months too early.

Wow... Five months.... That is the longest wait period I have seen so far (there may be others, I just have not seen them). Hope it breaks loose soon... Cheers, RickO

Congratulations @winesteven.... And thanks for the giveaway @SanctionII. Cheers, RickO
Strange but true.
Some could even say it is a masterful plot by Winesteven to filch a frosty Franklin.

Today the final Trueview photos posted.
Almost 6 months from when our host received the coins and 2 months and 10 days after Winesteven's winning guess.
Thanks to all who played in the giveaway contest and to those who followed this thread.

What a wait.
I should submit my stuff soon, or it may pass directly to my heirs!
And I'll never get to see them
