Sweet and thanks for the fun update!

Coins are Neato!

Some of the coins I was planning on submitting to PCGS at the recent Long Beach show were not timely organized, placed in flips and written up in Submission Forms while I was at the show. I thus did not succeed in submitting all of the coins I wanted to.
That has been fixed as of today. I sent the remaining coins to PCGS today.
So I am now up to date (as of today) on submissions. Looking forward to learning the grading results and seeing photographs.
Later this year I will be submitting another group of coins to be graded and photographed.
SanctionII
P.S. The coins I sent today are not included in the 10K post give away contest.
The wait still continues, ............................................. 47 business days and counting since three orders were received on 2-22-2022; and 44 business days since five orders were received on 2-25-2022.
Hopefully by mid to late May grades will start being posted.

But hopefully (for selfish me) the True Views will not come until much later, so my late date guess (early June) can win, lol.

A day without fine wine and working on your coin collection is like a day without sunshine!!!
A little movement has taken place with the eight separate orders I submitted to PCGS at the February Long Beach show.
One of the eight orders (a regular PCGS voucher submission of eight 1950 proof half dollars) that was received on 2-22-2022 has moved from "grading" to "encapsulation". Looking forward to seeing how these coins grade.
The other seven orders (World, Economy and Modern) are still in the "grading" stage.
Today the voucher submission of 8 coins moved from "encapsulation" to "quality assurance". Hopefully by next Monday these 8 coins will be shipped back to me and the grades assigned to the coins will be posted.
Another of my eight orders that I dropped off to PCGS at the February Long Beach show (a Modern order of 34 coins) has progressed from "grading" to "encapsulation" and is being imaged.
Glad to see things finally starting to move forward (slowly) towards the finish line.
Seeing the PCGS grades for the coins posted and comparing those grades with the personal grades I assigned to them will hopefully be fun.
I expect that it will be at least another 1-2 months before all of the coins I submitted in February are returned to me and True View photos posted.
I have no clue when the True Views of the coins will be posted, but as things currently stand it looks like the winner of the 10,000 giveaway contest will most likely be........................ Winesteven.
His prediction of the date that the final True View image of the submitted coins is posted is "June 8th, 1:15 pm Pacific time" and he made his prediction on 2-28-2022 at 9:32 p.m. (about 26 hours before the prediction cut off deadline). No one predicted a date later than his.
His prediction will likely not be close (likely it will be off by a least a month), but he read the tea leaves correctly in making his prediction and his timing on making his prediction was shrewd.
For Winesteven to not win the giveaway contest and to have Onastone win same (Onastone predicted 6-4-2022 at noon Pacific time, which is 105 hours, 32 minutes before Winesteven's prediction), all Truviews of the coins in the eight submissions will have to be posted not later than 6-6-2022 at 2:45 p.m.
6-6-2022 at 2:45 p.m. is 2 days, two hours and 45 minutes after Onastone's prediction and 2 days, 2 hours and 47 minutes before Winesteven's prediction. In that case Onastone would be the winner.
If all True Views are posted by 6-6-2022 at 2:47 p.m. that would be 2 days, two hours and 47 minutes after Onastone's prediction and 2 days, 2 hours and 45 minutes before Winesteven's prediction. In that case Winesteven would be the winner.
If all True Views are posted by 6-6-2022 at 2:46 p.m. that would be 2 days, two hours and 46 minutes after Onastone's prediction and 2 days, 2 hours and 46 minutes before Winesteven's prediction. In that case there would be a tie between Onastone and Winesteven.
In the case of a tie, I would give both Onastone and Winesteven a Cameo Franklin from the 1950s.
So, now that I have spent too much time today figuring out the above (purely to create some amount of interest in the give away contest) so I could post this update, it is time to enjoy the sunny weekend in the SF Bay Area.
As always, thanks for participating in the giveaway contest and this thread.
Most importantly, good luck on the grades of each coin in each of your eight submissions.
Yes, it’s looking real good for me at this point, especially that six of your submissions have not yet progressed out of “grading”, and Phil’s True View department is horribly short handed. While I don’t want to jinx myself, I think I can start making room for having that lovely Proof Cameo Franklin added to my collection. Regardless of whether I win or not, thanks for your generosity.

Instead of ending at 9:00 pm my time, TeleTrade actions ended at 9:00:59 so one had nearly an extra minute to either sweat or get outbid.

I just checked the orders for the coins I submitted on 2-17-2022 and on 2-18-2022 at the Long Beach show
All orders (except for an order for World Coins I submitted) show that they are in "grading" (and have been since late February).
The order for the World Coins I submitted has not made it to "grading" yet. It is still in "received" (and has been since 2-22-2022).
The wait continues.
And let's not forget - Your terms were it ends not just when you get the grades, but it ends when the last of the True Views become available!
