Had this one for a few months now. Thought you all would like to see it. It's in an old white ANACS holder.
As far as the reverse, not sure if that's die pitting or just die deterioration you would call it?

Looks like it was struck from incredibly rusty dies? Looks unc, though. Very clean. But weak strike. MS64BN?

I would agree, struck with rusty dies but very clean with some luster MS64

Exactly my thougths as well. I could even see it as a 65 but probably not with the rusted dies and weak strike in that old ANACS holder.

Yes, rusty dies.... but a nice token, and looks better than the label grade. Cheers, RickO
Yikes

I think you will have great success in submitting that to one of the major TPGs. Likely, the worn die was taken as wear on the high points of your token.
This is clearly undergraded.

I agree, I could see it in atleast a MS64 BN holder. I just prefer to leave it in the old white holder. Thanks!
does cac do at least the older anacs/ana and/or other older holders?

They were overly conservative on that one. It was struck from rusty dies, but that should not effect the grade on piece that is lower than say MS-65 or 66.
Here are couple more HT-70, Low-51 tokens.
This one raw. My grade is AU-58
NGC graded this one MS-64. Taking pictures of it in the holder has been a challenge for me. Here's another view of it.
Bill, wow those are nice examples too!
The one you grade AU58 I think would grade higher.
It's been my experience that the Low 51, HT-70 is one of the most common varieties. In his two volume "History of the United States," Samuel Elliot Morrison claimed that it was the origin of the Democratic Party donkey symbol.
