1860 Steven Douglas Campaign Medal And Elder Issue questions and help please

The only thing I've been able to of come to the conclusion is the the Restrike of the
1860 Steven Douglas Campaign Medal is rarer thats the original medal and even rarer in copper.
At least that's what I've found in my research. It also seams to have to indications its a restrike.
1) TRUE signature on both sides. Original just has it on the obverse.
2) A large die crack on the reverse. Indicating they didn't make to many before the die gave out.
.
These are my assumptions. If someone know different please help me put here.
.
Then a ran across the item Claiming to be an Elder Issue. Can someone verify that it actually is an Elder Issue.
And if so what was the mintage.

I am totally unfamiliar with this piece from my research into Elder. May I ask who says it might be an Elder issue?

I was hoping you would chime in and give me the Elder Number
He is an eBay seller. I’ve dealt with before but so far it’s been 50/50 with the seller.
I’ll pm you so we don’t slander names……just in case.

Yes, doesn’t this make a cool companion to the restrike?

The restrikes are cool
The brass piece looks like a W. M. Winter issue, not an Elder issue.
The new reverse die is paired with many more obverses in this thread:

@coinsarefun You posted Winter's store card in another thread here:

Did I just fund that?
Here is a white medal from my collection. It has "True" on both sides, but I don't see a die break.
I have found this series of medals for the four 1860 presidential candidates to be quite scarce. I have not seen a lot of them. I had to go out of my way to find these pieces, which share a similar or the same reverse design.
Lincoln This Lincoln piece has the earmarks of an original issue because it has been holed and is struck on a thin planchet. It has "True" on both sides.
Breckenridge
Bell This piece is almost certainly a restrike.
Maybe I’m looking at this all wrong? The only reason I say Steven Douglas is a restrike is because PCGS says it is.
The original auction mentions nothing of a restrike. Only rare in copper.

These large 1860 campaign medals have a "ying and a yang." The small ones are the Wealth of South series. That series gets its name from this Civil War token. All varieties of the Wealth of the South series are scarce to rare. This is one of the rare varieties which was sold the southern sympathizers before the war began. Most of the pieces that are offered for sale were made after the war began and are in higher grades.
In addition the presidential campaign tokens that are cent sized are also in the Wealth of the South series. Here is the Breckenridge piece.
And one of the Lincoln pieces. This is one of the rare ones that does not have the "Presidents House" reverse.
Going by what I have seen offered for sale over the years, I think that the larger pieces are much scarcer, but they have a smaller market. Therefore they tend to sell for less than the smaller Wealth of the South series.
I had to beat the bushes and look hard for the larger pieces.
