Looks like another thread hijacked with pictures of cards I've seen so many times now that I have all the serial numbers memorized.

OMG I agree and I like Mickey!

Can we get back to the Tim Duncan thread?

    Thanks, BC

Matching up the two on a 162 game average and you can see that Aaron bests Mantle in almost every category that counts, besides OBP as I said the walks account for the difference. This takes into account both of their waning years. Just saying Mantle was more dominant doesn't make it so.

From the years I was looking at, of course Mantle was far superior, for their entire careers, of course Aaron was better.

    Thanks for sharing your opinion.

Please tag me when you throw shade my way in the future.

    Thank you

To be fair, your Mantle cards were definitely off-topic for the thread at-hand. They're neither grossly undervalued nor RCs. Cool cards, to be sure, just not really relevant to the topic.

At least it didn't happen in the BST.

I like Tim Duncan, loved how he carried himself on and off the court and bought this card off the CU boards from a longtime member when it popped up last year. Duncan was as fundamentally sound as they come and win numerous titles as a result.

I'm in a football cards group on Facebook and it's hilarious to watch what people will reply with. Somebody will post that they're looking for PSA autos of Joe Montana. And the first 20 replies will either not be PSA 10 or not be autos - or not even Joe Montana.

    Greetings,

Does anybody else feel that this card remains grossly undervalued? I have seen the price of Kobes, Jordans, Currys, Durants, etc. go wild over the years - yet this REF RC in PSA 10 remains fairly "cheap."

Personally, I think history will view Duncan as one of the best NBA players in the last 40 years. And this card, truly iconic.

    Am I crazy?

On-field/court performance is only one component that factors into demand for a player's cards. While it is always an important component many times it is not the THE most important. Personality, Perception and Mythos/Legend factory heavily or very heavily into demand and often eclipse the pure playing statistics.
