The Atlanta 2020 ANA show was one of the last big shows before COVID19 shut everything
down. PCGS, NGC and maybe ANACS were there. Great Collections was and I consigned a
group of VAM Morgan dollars. Most of the the large dealers such as Stacks/Bowers, Heritage
and I believe Legend were there. Approx. 220 dealers. Lots of regional dealers. The ANA website
will/should have most details. I had a good time. Won't be going to this year, 1500 miles away.
Take time to visit the ANA headquarters. Well worth it!

Colorado in early March could be either beautiful or very cold. I've already booked my flight for the Summer ANA in Chicago - I can wait.

NMS (National Money Show) is the spring little sister to the end of summer WFoM (World's Fair of Money) show.

It is typically held in smaller cities, which makes it accessible to a wider audience than the big shows, but also has fewer dealers. As @Tibor said above, you often get regional dealers who don't travel to the big shows.

This year it's in the ANA's back yard at the Broadmor which is supposed to be a lovely hotel.

I've always enjoyed it when I was nearby.

March weather in Colorado changes by the day, sunny and nice then a foot of snow by the next morning. Pack your swim trunks and a parka and enjoy the show.

I'm right by Denver about an hour away.
It'll be all about the weather.

This reminds me I gotta cancel my Broadmoor reservations.
Made them last May at $150 a night for three nights for crying out loud but an opportunity that won't come again turned up.

I lived in the Denver area in the early 1980's, and went to the ANA Mid-winter show at the Broadmoor in March. The trip down to Colorado Springs was easy, but it began snowing hard, and by the time I left, I-25 was treacherous. Cars without chains or snow tires couldn't make it up Monument Hill, and visibility was terrible most of the way to Denver. White-knuckle driving, not for the faint of heart. On the other hand, it can be 50 or 60 degrees. March in Colorado is unpredictable more than a week in advance.

This is no different today, but with way more cars, worst stretch of highway for traffic jams and delays. This is the reason I haven't gone to Denver for a mint tour, at least the ANA money museum is here in town.

I'm an hour north of Denver. Just far enough to make a day trip out of the question.

Need a Barber Half with ANACS photo certificate. If you have one for sale please PM me. Current Ebay auctions
