Happy Birthday FDR! (and me too).

Today in 1882 Franklin Delano Roosevelt was born in Hyde Park, New York. Post a nice Rosie Dime to say "Happy Birthday!"

1941 Inaugural Medal - Jo Davison Sculptor

1941 was the year the Inauguration Day moved from March 4th to January 20th. There are two varieties to this medal- the first is more difficult to find than the second which has a 2 on the reverse to reflect the additional mintage beyond the first 1000

Happy Birthday- it was 140 years ago

I believe the only Roosevelt dime I have in my collection (other than mint or proof sets) is the W 1996 dime. The series never interested me. Cheers, RickO

Are some engravers incompetent or just malicious? What did this guy look like? Can't be both, right?
