The older ones were PVC. I don't know if they still make them or the composition changed.

Does it feel soft and flexible or hard and brittle - the latter is usually PVC

    The former.

    Vendor states:

"Thank you for your order, Pages are made of vinyl, vinyl has PVC.
The coins should be in a 2x2 Mylar flips."

    So it shouldn't hurt coins?

It is full of PVC. Run, do not walk, your coins away from it.

Maybe I am reading this wrong? Soft Bad, Brittle good. Is how I understand it.

You are correct. @Che_Grapes may have misspoken and meant "former" rather than "latter". Soft is usually PVC.

RIght, if you want a big binder, to be able to see your unslabbed coins easily.
Or you can put them (in their cardboard 2x2s or plastic flips) in a box.

Only if you are sure the flips are PVC free. If not sure buy some new MYLAR flips for the coins.

Good point. I started collecting again recently after many years hiatus, and my supplies from yesteryear were suspect or known to have PVC. Started fresh...

OP, stick with BCW - you can't go wrong. Made with polypropylene.

BCW and a $10 binder works well 😸
I’m in process of changing to new flips for everything. As you can see they hold most everything.

If you have an album with PVC that you want to use just put the coins in Coin-Tain capsules. The capsule will protect the coins. I have coins stored in this manner for 25+ years and no signs of PVC on them.

That book is a PVC factory. Yet another reason why I started making my own.
