Franklin guys: Bugs Bunny 1954?

He's pretty heavily toned, but it looks like...something's there?

We are like children who look at print and see a serpent in the last letter but one, and a sword in the last.

You're right - looks like something is there - could be clash mark but worn? Or polished die making the details of the clash a bit weak?

Yes it was in 1953/54/55/56 some years and stronger then others. You have a keeper.👍🏼

A few years ago I put together a date/mint set of Franklins. All raw.. Grades 58-up. I knew nothing about the series.....but....the first coin I bought for the set was a Bugs Bunny. I didn't even know what it was at the time. Beginners luck! It does happen.

I agree. It does appear that something is there but you should be able to tell in person better than what is visible from the photos.
