Kitchen scales to the nearest gram are great for baking, but not so much for finding out the weight of a dime or penny.

    That’s the one I have

The calibration mode uses a 100g weight.

I see that seller sells the weight separately.

It is helpful to have it

It's from Amazon - very easy to cancel the purchase if you want

Good digital scales are now fairly cheap... and I do recommend getting a calibration weight... always helps to verify when encountering a questionable weight coin. Cheers, RickO

I use a "PACT BBKII" scale.
It doubles as a powder scale and a coin scale.
    Does both grams and grains.

I bought this one many years ago. It only cost a a few dollars. Now the 500g weight that I had to buy to calibrate it with, cost about three times more than the scale. I usually use it to weigh my junk silver or cull silver dollars. Works fine for my needs.
