Ooh, how about any Buy it now or starting bid worth WAY more than the coin. Waste everyone's time...

On early dollars, lightly cleaned, or coins with questionable toning being net or straight graded. Ditto re pre 1815 copper. I understand why this is done, and I'm not disrespecting the TPGs, because so many people want these coins, and there are so few of them. However, it takes years, and that's if I'm lucky, to find one that I like.

Hits, dings, marks, prints in focal areas.... I am very particular when it comes to visual aesthetics. Of course, tooling or alterations just do not even get considered. I like nice coins Cheers, RickO
I really get upset over a "BU" coin, Beat Up, Buffed Up, Bent Up, Butt Ugly, Burnt Up, Beached Up, Blued Up, Blackened Up, Bubbled Up and just Beyond Ugly. Other than that I love just about every other type of coin.

BU on eBay usually stands for Been Used.

Graffiti with the exception of contemporary chop marks. Generally any problems - once you see it, you can’t unsee it - then it becomes all you see and the coin is no longer enjoyable.
Agree…..it’s not worse than having a hole, but those chemical or heat induced neon crayola colored peace dollars, etc you see on eBay are an abomination.
I actually found this coin hiding in my parents stash and figured i would include it in the last submission and just came back with a true view. Came back Genuine Plugged AG detail.

My parent's "stash" would've had a different meaning.
Need a Barber Half with ANACS photo certificate. If you have one for sale please PM me. Current Ebay auctions
The problem I hate the most is the problem I missed when buying the coin.
These I keep as a reminder to always look at the backs of all the coins in an album to make sure they’re not glued in with whatever super epoxy this was. Will not come off.

Major marks, black spots.

Starting from a baseline of a straight grade, I avoid coins with fingerprints, unpleasant toning, and carbon spots.
"Got a flaming heart, can't get my fill"
The one that has the dealer think his graded coins are always one or two grades higher and prices them accordingly.
Why not crack them out and resubmit them if he's so cocksure that the coin is undergraded.
Where's the overgraded coins in the inventory so I can buy them at a greatly reduced price?

Polished, soldered, holed, or badly bent coins are the worst...
Anything involving movement of metal.
Non CAC… those are really difficult to move.
Milk spots! Aggggggg!
Stolen.
The ones with low grades on the label.

Cleaned, when the coin would have looked good without the cleaning.
