Questions Re Morgan and Peace $s

I came across a number of circulated, common date Morgan and Peace $s. Best dates are a 1891 S & a 1926 S. Some are AU, most are F-FV. All pulled from circulation.
Question: If I wish to sell them, where can I get a minimal spread between a potential purchaser's buy and sell prices? Is there a spread for AU versus F? I'm looking for websites, or which dealers at a show such as Long Beach. B & M around here are competitive re modern silver bullion coins, but not on circulated Morgan and Peace $s.
Secondly: VAMs. What dates? Is there a site I can go to find them, or do I have to buy the book? I'd hate to get $25 for an otherwise generic coin that someone else can get from me and sell for hundreds of dollars. Are VAMs a highly selective niche market? I have no idea.

Most VAMs are more interesting than lucrative, but a few of the top VAMs command a premium. VamWorld.com is a good resource.
I have been buying pre-21 Morgans @$30 at local coin shows. I don't know about VAMs

If you don’t want to be cherry picked you will need to do the work. Go to Vam world and look up ea one make sure it’s right and then look up the price of ea after that keep doing it and you will know how much ea one will be worth or around what they are worth then you are one step closer to being a numismatist. Or a cherry picker. Have fun and be safe.
Hoard the keys.
As stated check Vam World.

Vam World also has a forum you can join. I have posted some images there when a coin does not exactly match the die marker, and got guidance on the coin's VAM number.

Here's what I did when I inherited about 50 circulated Morgans:
-- Got a good triplet loupe (magnifier).
-- Sorted the coins by better dates & mintmarks using a Redbook.
-- Learned to identify problem coins (counterfeit, damage, cleaning, etc). Sometimes not-so-easy.
-- Learned to estimate a coin's grade using PCGS PhotogradePCGS Photograde.
-- Tried identifying VAMs using VAMworld.com. You might enjoy this. Or not. I decided to narrow my search to the Top 100 VAMs. Or look at the Hot 50 or Hit List 40.
After studying all my Morgans, I found just one significant VAM:
And I'm still not sure if it's VAM-6 or VAM-46.
Was it worth all the time & effort? For me, yes: Now I can easily & quickly identify an 1879-S Rev 78 Morgan. Always looking for 'em. And now I have a limited ability for identifying VAMs.
But except for the 1879-S, I generally avoid Morgans... gives me a headache just thinking about VAMs.

I have many Morgans - as well as my CC set.... I have never checked for VAM's.... It is minus 1 degree outside right now. I should use the time to check for VAM's... but no... I am going to work.
