I had a previous post concerning some $20 raw gold coins I had bought. I had asked for opinions on what it would grade at. Opinions ranged all over the place. When I got the coins back I was pleased to report that it had graded at MS63. Based on that posting I was asked to post photos when I received them.
I am sorry I couldn’t find my previous post, so here is the photo I originally posted.
Everyone based their comments on the photos above. Below are the TrueView photos.

My lights were obviously a bit harsh! Just a bit!
Your pictures and the TV pictures look like two different coins.
My lighting which I had been shooting some proof coins was perfect for the proofs but way to harsh for the Liberty. Experience!
I would have graded the TV coin as 64 or 64+ but 63 is the correct grade for non TV coin. I guess it's best to examine the coin in hand.
Your lighting is a mark magnifier
I would have never guessed
The TV does a good job at hiding those marks and making it look like a higher grade. I guess there is no substitute for examining a coin in hand under various light sources while tilting and rotating the coin.

Clearly the same coin... Lighting makes a big difference.... Cheers, RickO
Thank you! I looked and looked through my previous posts…probably looked right at it and didn’t see it.
