This is the only large (or any) clip that I have seen on a Kennedy Half Dollar dated 2002 or later. The US mint really tried to eliminated error coins from getting out in the year 2002 until present.
Do any of you have or have seen a large clip on a Kennedy 2002 or later? Post them if you got them.

The only other error of any type on an NIFC Kennedy I've seen is a broken collar on the 2002-P. I have been fortunate enough to find several dozen of these.
I know a dealer who pulled a... I want to say a 2015 out of a bag, broadstruck. Was absolutely awesome and sold for a ton of money.

Photos please. My google search found nothing.
Sold privately, remains privately held. I should have bought it, but it wasn't for sale/priced when I saw it and by time I came back around, it had sold.

Are you sure of the date? Within a few years at least? How large of a broadstruck wast it, large or just a little?
I absolutely love private unknown unpublished collections.
I’ve seen 2008, 2011, and 2013 Kennedy’s with clips. In fact, a 2013 recently sold on ebay.
Do you remember how large of clips they were? Any bigger than the OP?
Decent size broadstrike. Not huge but definitely noticeable. Not sure of date. Somewhere between lets say 13 and 18? 18 feels too late. Feel like it was an odd number, too.

Wow... big clip there.... Have not seen any larger than that... they are scarce to begin with. Cheers, RickO
Great memory @GoldenEgg!
Here's the 2013!
Here's a smaller 2002-P clip:

Here's a 2011-P clipped Kennedy half.
Is this the one you were thinking of?

And here's a 2008-D:

Never heard of worthpoint before, Are they selling these or just tracking the pieces?
So far, we have photos to confirm:
I'm not sure what's more surprising:
That @GoldenEgg remembered all of these?
How much time out of my life I spent looking for these!
And the largest is ......
They are a historical realized price tracking service.
If 2% is $450, how much is 15%?
It's a fair price at $1000 because of rarity.
I was thinking $450 for 2% means $225 for each 1%, so 15% would be $3,375
Worthpoint is a tracking company only in my understanding. And they appear to track many, many types of coins (and other items, I believe) that are a bit "less" covered by the more traditional services. Included in this coverage is eBay, and other on-line seller services, I believe. They are fee/subscriber based. I do not know the cost, nor am I a subscriber, but I do know some of the investors.

I am surprised by the premiums for these clipped coins.
Happy for those that seek and find these.
A nice collection showing percentages of clip, would be interesting.

Kennedys are my quest...
Here is one that is on it's way to me. Ya I know it's a nickel, but possibly the latest dated major planchet error on a nickel. Show me a bigger one
Chris- very nice clip on the 2014 5 Cent!
Here is a good one
For the record, adding a 2005-P to the list of post-2001 Kennedy Halves with clips. This one is a double clip.
The double clip is pretty cool.
I know of a 2014-D high relief with a rim clip, I will see if the owner can get me a photo to add to this thread.
