Just Completed 85% of Morgans in PL

After a five-year search, I finally found a clean, white 1892-P...which was surprisingly elusive...for not crazy money.
So that's 85% of the Morgan set in 62-64PL...which I really appreciate more than my straight Unc. Morgan set, even though many of them are in higher grades.
Unfortunately, the remaining 15% will be crazy money!

Nice going!
Are there any dates that have no known PL surfaces?
It's all about what the people want...
@RichR post some pics so we can all see these nice Morgans

Please post pics. Would really love to see them.
My quest for morgans in PL stopped right after acquiring 1880/9 S and the 1881 CC because it was starting to get ridiculously expensive.

Awesome achievement!!
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

Both of these are amazing accomplishments and I’d love to see pictures. Are we talking date set or full date/MM set? A full MS Morgan set is extremely impressive.
Well done... that is a great collection... Definitely post some pictures.... Morgans in PL are really nice coins. Cheers, RickO
Sounds like quite an accomplishment

Full date/MM based on the coins typically listed in a "normal" registry set...but not including the multitude of VAMS...although I have a few of those also.
Link to registry? We want pics! 😆
Wasn't the 1901 P difficult to obtain in PL?
[Wasn't the 1901 P difficult to obtain in PL?]
Yes...and that's why it isn't included in the 85% completed!
So I probably won't live to accomplish that!
Awesome what do the 1884-S, 1892-S, 1893-S, 1895-S, 1896-S, 1896-O, 1879-CC, 1889-CC, and 1893-CC look like?
If you count the overdates, there are no known 87/6-O in PCGS PL holders. There's a lone NGC 58PL with a CAC sticker. The 82-O/S is also pop 0 unless you're looking at the VAM 4 EDS, which is a 5-figure coin.
01 and 21-S are super rare with PL surfaces. One of the 2 21-S die pairs known this way has some heavy patches of die polishing lines that distract from the mirrors.

Impressive set! Hope the other 15% show up sooner than you expect.
