Uncirculated "S" quarter rolls are back

OverdateOverdate Posts: 7,064 ✭✭✭✭✭

According to the Mint's website, American Women Quarters will be available to collectors in business-strike "S" rolls.

Unfortunately, it appears that they will be available only as part of a PDS three-roll set, not as individual rolls or 100-coin bags as before. Mintages may drop as a consequence.

They are back or it is a copy and paste carry over from previous offerings that will be corrected later when they realize a mistake.

Sales haven't started yet, they'll be released one at a time throughout the year, beginning in February.

Why didn't they offer rolls in 2021? I would have bought a roll or bag of the Crossing of the Delaware, I really liked that one.

Look at the Tuskegee 3- roll prices. There’s a seller offering rolls of “crossing “ die chip quarters not that expensive. Everything Tuskegee d & p rolls etc big bucks. To bad the mint didn’t do official “crossing “ rolls. 🙀

I have been a quarter collector for many years, but I think I have finally had enough and will call my collection ended with the 1 year type 2021 Washington quarters.

I’m with you. Have a roll of D’s and will add a Philly roll from my NY quarter guy and call it good. Got a clad proof set that has really nice coins. Got lucky. Some point way down the line I’ll spring for a graded silver “crossing “. Stopped the ase’s with 2021 examples. Not doing the proof Morgan or peace dollar commemoratives This should be good news for my dime album project. 😉

@Jzyskowski1 I agree, I'm thinking of closing out my Quarter collection with 2021. I do not like creating a new state quarter collection for political y correctness.

Bought a full set of the uncirculated S-minted quarters from a guy in my coin club who has assembled several of these from mint bags. Don't know if they'll ever be worth much, but for $35 it was worth it to me.
