I was looking for one of these last week for my type set. I’ve never owned one. I like the color and look, no major hits with some peripheral luster. I’m thinking 55. Nice coin.
I'm at AU55
Not my series whatsoever, but I'll venture 45.
I like it as an XF45 but knowing NGC they could have given it up to a 53. Nice skin of a common date that isn’t as common as the 75s,76s and 77s it trades aligned with. Not the popular DDR of that date

I like it as an XF45, perhaps NGC-50.
Original.

My gut said XF. I wouldn’t be surprised by AU.
All day XF for me. Nice looking original coin. Peace Roy

Solid XF40 by current standards. The reverse may be 45 but I don't like the dark stains. Not even close to AU.
AU 50
Nice skin and overall look.
Not scrubbed up or overly dark.
Close enough that I’ll stretch and give it AU50.
I'm pretty much in the majority here, and I think it's a great EF/AU.
Technically I think it has just enough luster and little enough wear to warrant a 50.

53? Love that crust!
I like it as a nice and original 45

Some staining on the reverse but a very decent 45.

NGC 50, PCGS 45
Nice original 50. Congrats and thanks for sharing such a beauty.

Nice I like it. AU-55
Hoard the keys.

AU 50 for me.
My first impression was XF49.
Looks like a 45 to me.... Still has good detail. Cheers, RickO
XF45
Hey Everyone.... FWIW, I liked the coin at AU50... NGC was a little kinder:
Edited to add: This coin also reminds me of the 1873 Trade $1 I had in a previous iteration of my 7070 album... a little crusty with a lot of hidden luster in the devices...

Very nice. 53 was my take before I saw the comments and then the slab.

Remaining Luster is the big difference between PCGS and NGC, this manifests most often in the range XF-AU range. I have been burned by many an AU NGC that XFs at PCGS. NGC53 is almost code for PCGS45. Not always but that one is classic

Nice coin, properly graded. No real hits, original surfaces.
Nice coin, I was going to guess AU50 before I saw the grade.
I would have said 50.
NICE coin, in any event.
