Mercury dime, right?
Just had my 4 martini lunch and it looks nice and clear now!
Post it as a GTG. Or maybe GTD.
Could be one of emeraldtv listings
You'd think they would've looked at the photo and said "too blurry, I can't use it".
Not trying to hijack your thread but I found this one earlier and didn't start a thread here because it isn't coin related:

Nobody at the mint thought to focus the press? Terrible lack of skill.

I think it's called a beauty lens or too much petroleum jelly. Peace Roy

George Washingtons of petroleum jelly from his head...
The photo is sharp and in focus.
I think eBay is blurry.

There are crappy eBay photos, and there is this....

Indeed, I believe these are the worst set of photos I have seen in 25 years of searching Ebay
I wonder if someone is experimenting with automating the entire eBay listing process, including photography... 🤔

This is a really tough GTG!
I am going to say 1956 Washington Proof 67.
.
That is clearly 1955. Or maybe not...
... or Might be Washington 80 Proof...
Did anyone send a message to the seller requesting better pics? If so, what kind of response did you get?

Even my pics aren't that bad.

sometimes the photography is laughable. sometimes the astronomical asking prices are.

Minting a coin with missed focus is master level engraving skill rarely seen!

I had a “conversation” today with an eBay seller. I asked for clear photos of what he was selling. He asked what’s wrong with the photos. I told him his exposure and focus were terrible. He made the comment that he was tired of losing money on his eBay sales. That would be where I would start to stop the losses and turn them into profits!
Who knows, could be a gem!
One of the many reasons I do not seek coins on ebay anymore.... Poor photography, scams, lots of trash, and did I mention scams? Cheers, RickO
I guess you guys missed out on this bargain, it's obviously the very scarce 1943 doubled die obverse! Or a 1969 25c struck on a 5c planchet. Or a Daniel Carr fantasy broadstrike. Or...
