Ebay seller youlikethis2 is selling counterfeit coins
This seller has sold at least 7 counterfeit coins in the last 3 days for a total of around $3380
This seller will not give up easy and it will take a combined effort from members here.
Thought it would be best to start a thread just for this seller so buyers may find it on a Google search if they take the time.
Also if we add new listings to this thread it will help keep track of their sales in case we have to send the info to the NCTF.
Sold listings over the last 3 days.

@WAYNEAS Yes, there are 2 other threads about this seller, I thought it would be a good idea to keep them all in one place.

His 1877's are all type 2.
A number of his completed listings of counterfeits have been removed by eBay. When I clicked on them, I got the "We looked everywhere..." message.

Same... his 1877 IHC's were a joke! The '22 Plain is stull up, but only 3 bidders at $26. Reported...

Mark, there were three known ended (sold) listings of counterfeits before I ran across the seller, BUT! there was two that sold, while the forum members were making reports! One was a 22 no D just like the one were dealing with now, the other was a 1909SVDB, it sold for $787.00 and I (we) had done everything we could to stop it, I had to just sit and watch the bids go up and the auction end.

I was looking at the seller's feedback and they only have 18 for selling! so the 300 plus, is for buying!

It seems like a never ending problem... and it is!!! Much like fighting disease or other crimes, we must continue. Cheers, RickO
Kinda suspicious when all a seller sells are multiples of funky-looking key-date cents - 1877, 1909SVDB, 22 no D - in auctions, and sweet-priced BINs. I've reported this seller at least a half dozen times. Sadly, I've had to scold eBay almost as many times after these auctions close. This crook has stolen thousands of dollars from unsuspecting collectors in the last week alone.
eBay sucks.
It looks like ebay caught the 22 no D in time and removed it.
This seller is not done, we will need to keep a close eye on them.
I've kept asking eBay why they haven't banned this guy after every one of his auctions closes, pointing out the thousands of dollars of fraudulent auctions that have been permitted to close after repeated warnings. Maybe they started listening and banned him. We'll see.
I reported this and the seller as well...
This issue will always be with us.
As long as there is such an easy source to obtain cheap fakes (china), where else can anyone make such easy money for posting the items for a few days and getting thousands of dollars?
Add to that a reluctance on ebay's part to crack down severely (after all, they make money from it too); and reluctance for any law enforcement response (unless mega dollars are involved and it is high profile). Government action? ... yeah, right. They will get right on that.
People will just have to learn the hard way, if they aren't willing to take the time to learn about what they are buying,. The foolish and the poor will always be with us ( I too have had some hard lessons... fortunately not too severe... and hopefully have learned a few things along the way)
There are more of us here than him.
We all must continue to report his fraudulent listings.
I do wonder though how many here sympathize but do not report the listings.
I do hope that all who follow, will.

Back with a new listing.

Okay, I've not done much research on counterfeit 22 No D's but the strong strike of the date and such a weak strike (worn) of the rest of the obverse looks really funny.
The seller has done better pictures of the coin this time, so I'm assuming the general consensus here is still PHONY?
I'm wondering why the seller is so persistent with this 22 but they've not came back with those 2 counterfeit 14-D's that ebay took down?
Actually the entire obverse of the coin look corny.

Yep, there is only one way to stop this.

Watch for another one to be listed right away.
Buy them all, then refuse to pay because they are fake?
If this guy hasn't found some other way to dump those two 14-D's I suspect he's going to try and get a good picture of each, put them up on a LOW buy it now in the middle of the night or this coming weekend during a time when ebay item reports want get the listings taken down in time and hope they can get a FAST SALE!

Buy them with a credit card pay and leave feedback
That is what I just did with the 1922 no D and ebay said thank you.
Here is the pic of the 14-D
And this is for sure FAKE!
They have one more of these that I know of!
I just reported this one!

The only way to shut them down is to buy everything they list and leave feedback.
The 1914 D just sold
Hope it was to someone here helping out.
I checked the seller's feedback for Selling Only,
they have a total of,
18
with 6 negatives
and 2 neutral
But, if they get to keep the money they got over the weekend alone they'll pocket over 3K.

The listing for the 22 no D I purchased last night has been removed but ebay left the feedback to warn others.
Ebay thanked me and I have no warnings from this transaction.
I called my credit card to make sure no charges go through.
This is a better way to stop a problem seller than waiting for ebay to take action.
The rim's on the 1922 Plain are way off... abnormally thick...

Look at the date, it looks superimposed on it or over it its completely different than the rest of the coin.

I don't know why eBay does not simply ban sellers like this. The person needs to be banned right away.
I bought a couple fake morgans and a 1928 peace on Ebay. After having them in hand, did a weight check and put a caliper on the diameter and then checked the height (thickness of the the coin) and all the specifications were way off. Contacted Ebay and was refunded my purchase on all the coins with no problem. I was lucky.

Most banned sellers just come back with a different identity. Unfortunately, eBay is just another flea market. Caveat emptor.

Ebay removed the feedback I left for the 1922 no D.
Ebay allows people to sell counterfeits and then covers it up rather than take action against the seller.
They also went ahead and processed the payment after they removed the listing.
When you see a listing has been removed by ebay they do not stop the payment.
If the seller doesn't screw you ebay will !
Glad I used a credit card.
.
.
Now that the feedback has been removed the seller will be listing more counterfeits soon.
They also collected sales tax on this purchase when they shouldn't have.
This is over a year ebay has been illegally collecting sales tax.
Or maybe they will just remove any bad feedback and let him keep selling.
Well, I just checked the list of this sellers other items and there is ZERO listed. (I'll keep a check on him)
Maybe, (not that its right) ebay pulled the feedback because it wasn't an actual completed transaction???
I don't like how ebay turns such a blind eye to these counterfeit sellers, but there is that MONEY! they get 10% + a couple of dollars straight from the TOP! And a seller refund don't include selling fee refund!, This is Win Win for ebay.
