The coaching last night sure was what won the game for the Patriots. Mr Bill made all the right moves for sure.

The Bills offensive play calling was very poor. And in a game that obviously would come down to one or two plays, the Bills receivers had a couple drops. The Bills should have forced the Patriots to throw. I feel as though they could have put in more of a goal line defense. They had that overruled challenge. They kicked a field goal at the wrong time. Also, the Bills were taking shots at the endzone when a first down would have gotten the job done. So yes, they were not well coached.
BRUTAL weather conditions certainly played a role.
As a side, I want to thank Bill Bellichek and Josh McDaniels for basically making Mac Jones a terrifying choice for fantasy football going forward.
2/3 for 19 yards

I thought it was a very good game. Allen is a real talent. The final seconds were exciting. Could have gone either way.
.........
I agree completely. And to top it all off......my team won.
"2/3 for 19 yards" kinda reminds me of Gilligan's Island 3-hour tour:
The weather started getting rough,
the tiny team was tossed,
if not for the play calls of Billy B,
the Patriots might have lost.
Congrats Billy -- your QB is now ill-prepared for adversity in the playoffs -- but he's sure good at handing off the ball!
........
Do you think that the Patriots should have ran a different game plan, even if it meant losing, just so as to make Mac take some MNF lumps?
No. As Belichick says, he's there to win, not make things look pretty. As one of the commentators said, the won-loss record is what counts, not how pretty you wins are, like it is in the college ranks.
So yes, they were not well coached.
the Bills were poorly coached and the Patriots were expertly coached.
as I was watching the game it became clear that points would be at a premium so I'm surprised Buffalo didn't make a better effort to stop the run and play for field position when they had the wind, 1-2 kicks would have been the difference.
I think the Patriots were willing to run as long as the Bills let them while they just waited for them to move up and stack the line, then they'd have passed. it never happened though.
a strange thing around the NFL that's developing with all the weird losses and only a few dominant Teams seems to be that the best Head Coaches are the ones doing the best. Belichick doesn't care about style points or guts, he only cares about the win.
I think everyone watching was waiting for Jones to start throwing but it didn’t happen, it almost bit us in the rear end and had Buffalo not missed that FG I think the Pats would have lost. I wasn’t sure I agreed with some of the 3rd down run calls but the game was bitterly contested in the trenches for sure.
Shocked that Allen didn't have more designed runs. Buffalos backs aren't very good and Allen is very good. That should have been an advantage for the Bills.
I really wanted to a see a 75 yard FG attempt or a Josh Allen 90 yard pass in the air with the wind so it that regard I was left wanting

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
whenever there has been a discussion about who deserves more credit for the Pats' run -- Tom or Bill -- i've always cast my vote for the former. still do, in fact.
but i tell you what, Bill is showing me something this season. that man is flashing some serious genius. as bizarre as last night's game was, when you process what went down after a night's sleep there's really nothing else you can do but give it up for the man. can you say imposing one's will? seriously, it was the equivalent of him sitting down at a poker table with McDermott and flashing his hole cards prior to every flop -- then methodically taking all of his chips. 😂
two pass completions the entire game. and honestly, the Pats didn't even need them. they couldn't have gone the entire game without throwing the football and still would've won. it's like Bill got bored and finally decided to fling it a few times.
as ugly as that game was at times, it was such a Picasso by Belichick
"i have a rookie quarterback at the helm, we're in your house, it's a hostile environment, the conditions are deplorable, so i'm telling you right now that we're gonna run the ball virtually every play for 60 minutes. what are you gonna do about it? that's right, nothing."
you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet
.......
Buffalo's play calling left a lot to be desired.
It took McDermott a long time to figure out that a middle linebacker should attack the space left by a pulling guard. That adjustment must be made so much quicker but I guess he didn’t think they’d keep running.
It should not take a football coach like three and half quarters of football.

Some of you guys might wanna summarize like this:
"Wow, let's all kiss Billy B's ring -- he keeps it in his back pocket".
I’m the biggest critic of hoodie, I really am but he is doing pretty well with this team we got to admit
......
He didn't have them in the right defensive sets. I agree.

Although I don't particularly like hoodie, I will admit that he's done very well with your team.
