His 1880S off-center Morgan Dollar and his Sac $1/ Quarter Mule are definitely 2 of the highlights.

Also in his collection is a wonderful 1873 Shield Nickel struck on a Cent planchet. The provenance is ex-Farouk.

His most important piece has already been auctioned, the PCGS cricket.

Too bad it didn’t have the awesome new Weinberg insert!

Hopefully the new owner can send it to PCGS for an update :)

Here's a concept for the new owner:

The three best Currency Errors will be in the
FUN auction, and another roughly 100 currency
errors will go up in two groups, I believe, after
    that -

As far as error coins, looks like the Sac Mule and
Off Center 80-S Morgan will also be in the FUN sale.

Don't know when the other errors and normal coins
will go up, but looks like February thru May-ish or so.

Very cool Farouk-Weinberg coin! King Farouk really had a lot variety.

Here's the link to the feature on Mint Error News showing the slab and insert. Hopefully this gets the Weinberg insert too :)

What's really cool is that the MEN article highlighting Fred's ownership is from 2004!

Mint Error News wrote in 2004:
1873 Shield Nickel Struck on Cent Planchet

All major mint errors in the Shield Nickel series are very rare. This 1873 Shield Nickel was struck on a copper Cent blank intended for an Indian Cent. It is in choice mint state condition and is from the Farouk Collection. This is part of Fred Weinberg’s personal mint error collection.

    There's a few world errors,
    including an large Israeli coin
struck on a 40% silver Kennedy
Half dollar planchet - only one that's
    ever surfaced.

Most are US error coins, error currency,
a few nice normal US coins, two
    Patterns, and so on.

Very exciting Fred. I can't wait to see the TrueViews :+1:

Hopefully Phil @PCGSPhoto will get some extra time to enjoy these when they are in front of his lens!
